Except in the case of somebody who lives outside of Massachusetts, we establish the attorney-client relationship by personal conference only. Because of the need for thoroughness in the analysis and decision-making processes, no detailed questions about possible cases can be answered by email, and no attorney-client relationship will be established prior to the initial personal conference.

It is our experience that a client's question may seem simple, but the answer is so intertwined with other issues that the answer leads to other questions. Therefore, our past and current clients are always urged to make an appointment to discuss issues, rather than to attempt to discuss the issues on the telephone or attempting to engage in email communication.
